Since 1983, Peter and Vivian Jenkins have had the privilege of working with Christian Leaders in Zimbabwe, Zambia and DRC. They've also been involved in Education since 1982.

Vivian went to Hillside Teacher’s College in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, from 1971 – 1973. She qualified as a Junior School Teacher, and subsequently gained teaching experience in all grades, as well as teaching English at secondary school. Together with her husband, Peter Jenkins, Heynie Liebenberg and Marius and Susan Schalekamp, Vivian was a founding board member of Midlands Christian School and Midlands Christian College in Gweru, Zimbabwe In 1992, she was appointed Principal of Midlands Christian Training Centre – which subsequently became a UNISA Distance Education Centre. Although MCTC registered students from all over the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe for the University of South Africa, the focus for the inhouse students was on teacher training.
